Support for researchers
Our research community is fully supported at Faculty and School level by an integrated service that oversees research policy, delivery and governance, providing strategic guidance and practical help to academics and researchers.
From administrative and financial advice pre- and post-award to strategic support and help with applying for an externally funded fellowship scheme, support is here for researchers.
The following sections give an overview of the support available. If you're already a student or researcher at the University, you will find all the research support information you need on our intranet.

"I received a lot of support from the Faculty, from early advice on my CV, through to help in writing research proposals. A pump-priming postdoctoral fellowship funded by the Wellcome Trust ISSF allowed me to continue my research whilst applying for external fellowships. I now have my own lab in the Cell-Matrix Centre, supported by a Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Dale fellowship. I'm thoroughly enjoying running my own group – it's exciting to see your own ideas being developed by others."Dr Sarah Woolner / Sir Henry Dale Research Fellow
