Deaf education at Manchester

A pioneering course with over a century of experience

Study Deaf Education at Manchester and you'll benefit from a course driven by the latest research, enabling you to build on your existing teaching qualification to teach deaf students in the UK or overseas.

Our course is approved by the Department for Education, providing the national mandatory qualification to teach deaf children and young people (0-25 years).

Manchester has been developing expertise in this area for over 100 years. We deploy the latest equipment to help you develop your audiological management skills for the benefit of deaf children and young people.
