University events

Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health public contributor celebration event

This event sees staff, students and public contributors celebrate the patient and public involvement and engagement activities that have taken place within the Faculty.

It includes the Outstanding Contribution to Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) Awards, which recognise the inspirational and dedicated commitment to PPIE in the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health. The awards are open to public contributors, staff, and students affiliated with the Faculty.

In 2019, more than 70 people attended the event. They had the opportunity to explore how wellbeing and PPIE collectively benefit our research and teaching through the theme of 'Celebrate PPIE, Experience Wellbeing'.

You can view a list of the winners for 2019 on the Faculty news blog.

The event takes place annually in July. If you'd like to attend the 2020 celebration event, please email us at srbmh@manchester.ac.uk to register your interest.
