Studying biosciences
Biosciences is a broad field of study.
It can be divided into two key areas:
- Biological sciences - the study of life and living organisms, their life cycles, adaptations, and environments.
- Biomedical sciences - the human system and how cells, organs, and systems function.
You can study a little bit of everything across biosciences, or specialise in an area that particularly interests you, such as cell biology, biochemistry, anatomical science, plant science or developmental biology.
