Using acupressure wristbands to relieve chemotherapy related nausea and vomiting, and acupuncture to manage fatigue
Abstract
This recently completed pilot randomised trial (n=36) showed that acupressure wristbands are effective in decreasing occurrence and distress from nausea and vomiting during chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. Based on this feasibility study, a larger study is now planned.Members of the project
